Problem
A memorial planning provider needed a secure portal for customers to make authenticated payments toward pre-arranged services, with staff notified automatically as payments completed.
Families expected card checkout without calling the office. Operations needed proof that money posted before they updated a plan file.
Solution
Built the payment portal and its serverless notification workflows.
- Built a secure payment portal using Next.js, AWS Amplify, AppSync, Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Trust Commerce.
- Implemented serverless payment and notification workflows to support authenticated customer transactions and operational follow-up.
Checkout on any screen
The same Cognito session powers desktop review and phone payments. Trust Commerce tokenizes cards, DynamoDB stores plan state, and Lambda fires staff notifications once Trust Commerce settles a charge.
